Friends of McKinney Falls State Park

What's a Friends Group?

Friends Groups are independent non-profit partner organizations created by people just like you.

McKinney Falls State Park sees over 300,000 people annually and has a full time staff of only 15 people!

That's where we come in!

We are the helping hands to aid the only state park within Austin city limits in whatever way we can; whether that's time, talent or financial support.

Join us in helping to support one of the last wild places in Austin and to help us tell the story of a place that's been visited by people for over 8,000 years.

Be a part of the legacy.

The mission of the Friends of McKinney Falls State Park is to serve as responsible stewards of the cultural and natural resources, support educational programs, and foster an inclusive environment for present and future generations. We will do this by giving our time, our talent, and our financial support to McKinney Falls State Park.
